As a typical representative of web 2.0 application, wikis has been popularised all over the world rapidly. I've ever heared wikis before for several times, but never tend to get into it. Wikis afford a free and friendly platform to those people who want to express their own opinions ,as the quote going, "Now take a look at its talk page. What do you find? Usually a mix of questions, points, criticisms; in other words, suggestions to improve the article from their perspective."
we can infer from the article, in a word, why people are interested in wikis is creating a satisfactory end-product at last, and the process of the creation is the learning community, and the two are inseparable.
In the light of wikis, people communicate with others has become more efficient, it's really intersting, for example, i write an article and then post it, if someone else who hold different opinions, that he can edit my article directly, and the third one has his own opinions. Finially, If everyone's opinion is unified, then maybe the verity is coming out.
This isjust what i comprehended, what's urs? :)
