Suicide is Painless

2 December, 2006

Well, this puts the old thumb into perspective.

I appear to have a fractured rib. And it hurts. I've raided the pharmacy for anything with codeine in it and am trying not to overdose.

If I can find somewhere comfortable to sit and type I might post some of the things I've been meaning to talk about for months. But then again my brain might turn into Swiss cheese and I won't be able to think at all.

wohoo... now how did that happen?! Surely not in the lab? (mental image of a large centrigfuge moving across the room slamming into you and propelling you into the wall.... )

Hope you found those pills that can make anyone forget their pain and that you get well.

The last three months I have manage to put a needle in my finger, note to self; If it is a syringe full with either virus or bacteria - do not put in finger! Funny small things like that can be so hard to remember... ;)

challenge: are you *sure* your name isn't Vergil Ulam? (Just checking here, you understand.)

Aie aie aie (as they say in Franceà - much sympathy here. Hurts like a bitch, doesn't it? I hope it's just because someone hugged you too hard. Somehow, that doesn't seem statistically probable (it's not personal). Look forward to three painful weeks ahead. I hope you've found the codeine by now.

Nix> hmm.. an interesting idea but sadly (hmmm maybe not?) no. It is a good thing for the planet I am not though...

Another option would be the reference to the aussie Nobel prize laurates with the Helicobatcer pylori and infecting yourself :)
