Hello

10 April, 2007

I know, I really haven't been keeping this place ticking over recently. It stems from the depression that's been bugging me since I got pneumonia last year (Hmm. I still haven't written about my time in hospital. Must do that).

So I need to get on top of that, and do some writing. This weblog, my personal one, and maybe, finally, do something about those half-arsed chapters I've got sitting on my Palm.

I promise I'll try to write more often, if not regularly. I'm taking next week off (aaah) because it's just too expensive to keep the Pawns in childcare all Easter break and we think we need a holiday. I might not write much Lab Rats next week but I aim to get the old fingers into the groove once more. And while we're being meta, I'm going to give "Word of the Week" a sabbatical. I'll try to think of something just as funny (take that which way you will). Having put this down, here, should help inspire me. Bug me.

And it's my birthday on Saturday. Woohoo!

Well, Happy Birthday afterwards! Hope that your week off will give you more energy and especially a good time with family. Important stuff that one!

take care.

Happy birthday for Saturday.

I will miss the Word of the Week segment, but I understand. Sniffle.

Hope you are back on track soon BK.

1. Happy birthday
2. Sorry to hear you are not well. Get better rapido
3. Chapters? Book? Mine is sitting dormant too. I'm beginning to think it was a bad idea.

1. thanks
2. I got better </python>
3. Hah. We said we'd talk about it, didn't we?

And Happy Birthday from over here, too!

Sorry, late as usual. And on a rampage through your comments. Hope it was a good one.

Cheers,
R'pus.

P.S. If I started writing a book, it would never, ever, get finished. Ever.

About the Rat

Black Knight is interested in the interaction of science (as a day job and as a way of thinking) with his family, the wider community and literature. And tormenting students. Frequently polemical, sometimes serious, and hopefully always entertaining more
