Because on FriendFeed my comment has spurred a discourse on the practice of commenting online, and because your actual labmates, who are probably sick of you by now might want to see that a random person on the internet at least SOMETIMES wants to be your labmate, here is my comment again, stripped of all spontaneity:

"Sometimes I wish we were labmates. This may or may not be one of those times."

(It sounded better the first time I typed it, didn't it?)
