So... there is something absorbing at 270 nm in E1, and it's unlikely to be protein because there's only a minimal peptide bond peak at 230 nm. E2 and E3 look fine, absorbing at 230 and 280 nm.
This kind of weirdness happens on a more or less daily basis in the lab.
