MEAFA is delighted to announce its link with the Financial Integrity Research Network (FIRN) in Australia.
Financial Integrity Research Network (FIRN) is an ARC Research Network, mainly funded by the Australian Research Council but also through contributions from its member universities.
FIRN's mission is to enhance the integrity and efficiency of Australia's financial system and to establish Australia as the Asia-Pacific hub of financial markets research excellence. One of FIRN's strategies to achieve these goals is to bring people from various disciplines together in events which will lead to further collaboration and research in the broad field of financial integrity
MEAFA is represented at FIRN by two of its members: David Johnstone and Maxwell Stevenson.
MEAFA is pleased to announce that the Financial Integrity Research Network (FIRN) supports the forthcoming First meeting on MEAFA, 14-15 Feb 2007 by offering 5 travel scholarships for eligible PhD students and younger researchers of associated institutions. To apply, please contact firn@uts.edu.au.
