July 2012

A little over a month ago I was lucky enough to attend the Apple World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco as part of a scholarship provided by the Apple University Consortium (AUC). The five-day conference attracts 5000 Mac and iOS app developers from all over the world and focuses on the new technologies, APIs and tools Apple is releasing in the future. Tickets to this year’s conference were so sought after that the conference sold out in a record 1 hour and 42 minutes. All up, the University had three successful AUC scholarship recipients with students Peter Morton and Andrew Clayphan also attending.

It's finally here! Today the Uni launched our very own app, the Sydney Uni app, for iOS and Android. The app allows students and staff to find their way around campus, easily access Blackboard, see what events are happening on campus, keep up-to-date with our daily news and much more.

The process of creating these reference pages led to some CMYK breakdown adjustments, which are explained below.
