Welcome, welcome, welcome to our new bloggers! You all sound so cute and fresh-faced! I hope this feeling lasts at least for a few weeks....
I can't wait to hear how your adventures at uni go. I was a bit of a nuffy in the beginning, always late or my shoes broke and I had to go barefoot, or made stupid(er) by lack of sleep. Even in second year I sat in a Medicine lecture for ten minutes before I realised it wasn't an English class. I wish you all the best of luck. Just as long as you do it with a smile :)
I’ve been trying to work out how I feel about going back to uni this year. In first year it was a mixture of unadulterated fear and excitement. Second year I was riding high on the euphoria that comes with not being the smallest fish anymore. Third year was my first year of living in a share house with friends, so uni was just what you did in between having mid-afternoon beers and experimenting with questionable stir-fried meals.
And now? Fourth year feels terribly serious, basically. It’s the last year of my degree, the year where you prove your academic worth, get all that work experience, spruce up your CV and make “contacts”. Hmmm. Makes me freak out just thinking about it. But I guess this feeling will pass, I just need to concentrate on the things I do know how to do. For example, I probably won't rush into a lecture thinking I'm really late, then get embarrassed when everybody leaves and I realise I'm totally early. And I'll always take an umbrella if it looks like rain. Wet hair just makes me so sad.
Good luck kids! Happy days.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad we can all learn from your mistakes, though I didn't take an umbrella to tropfest last night!
