Whooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pretty much sums it up.

Last Thursday I saw Faker at Manning Bar (one of the super things I’ve been able to do being 18...) You might know their tune Hurricane, or their latest one, Love For Sale.

Manning very often great bands playing during lunchtime sessions and after dark; Access card holders generally get in for a cheaper price than the general public, while lunchtime sessions are usually free. Faker turned out to be free for us, which was a bonus.

Being highly uncool, me and my friends arrived extremely early (even before doors opened), so we listened to all the support bands while enjoying fairly cheap drinks outside. It was a very nice, relaxed atmosphere and overall a great night. Faker played for around an hour - this is the second time I've seen them live and they are really great performers. I bought their album Addicted Romantic recently so at this concert I was able to recognize and sing along to more songs than just Hurricane...

Check out www.manningbar.com or the back page of the Bull for upcoming events... the next one I’ve put in my diary is Youth Group on the 17th May. See you there!
