My diary is already full of dates but not for assignments. The start of uni for another year has meant a jam-packed social schedule once again. The year started with the Sydney University Law Society's "Salsa by Sunset" welcome back drinks...

It was a beautiful, balmy autumn night. The scene was Circular Quay West. The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House laid out in front of us as hot girls and boys salsa-ed to the sounds of live latin percussion.
There was a salsa class at 7:30pm for those who wanted to learn how to free up their hips a bit (most law students could probably do with a bit of "freeing" up, if you ask me!) Then the music began and the night sparkled. Office workers were probably continuing to slave away in the sky-piercing scrapers surrounding our salsa bar, but we swerved, slid and stressed our muscles to the sounds of latin music.

It was a nice chance to see everyone again. I went with fellow blogger, Lauren. I dressed to the latin theme - 5 o'clock shadow, butt-cupping pants with flares and a tight white singlet. I wasn't the only one either! It's amazing to see weary-eyed students that usually pour over text books transform into fun and free latin hotties :-)
The night confirmed to me why Sydney is the most beautiful city in Australia. It's full of life. It has a high concentration of law students that don't get to sleep early. And it has a beautiful harbour. The night is always sexy is Sydney.

I am horrified by the inclusion of this photo. I would like to assure loyal blog readers that my right eye is quite camera-shy but in regular, everyday life, very much open and not in some permanent 'I-just-squeezed-lemon-in-my-retina' arrangement.
I would also like to point out that I had enjoyed more than my fair share of awesomely-valued drinks by this stage, adding to my dismal appearance.
PS Gas, great photo of you, dear.
