Hi guys. You know what’s more useful than this blog? Going to a careers market!!

How friendly do we look? Armidale Careers Market 2008.
If you want to go to uni, and have anything from any idea to no idea on the official scale of “How Much Idea Of What I Want To Do At Uni And/Or In Life I Have”, the best thing you can do is gather as much information as possible on the situation.
If you know you want to be an architect, but you’re not sure whether you need to go to uni, and if so which uni to go to?
If you have no idea past the fact that you enjoy Society and Culture at school?
Really, the only thing you can do is find out, and the best avenues for finding out are available at a careers market near you. You should be getting information from your school or careers adviser about a careers market that you can attend.
A careers market is like a big exhibition of many options you have after you graduate high school. Many universities are present at these markets, as well as TAFE, employers, and companies offering internships.
You’ll be able to bag yourself tons of brochures and freebies, but most importantly you can start chatting to students and experts about what you can do with your life!
If you miss out on a careers market or your school isn’t involved in one (mine wasn’t!), you can contact unis directly for more information.
In Sydney Uni’s case, you can call our helpline or email us to ask anything at any level of specificity. If we can’t answer your question we’ll try our very hardest to find someone who can, so don’t be scared to come up at a careers market or give us a buzz.
We also have open days throughout the year that are great for checking out the campus as well as asking tons and tons and TONS of questions!!!

I would want to come to Sydney uni based on your friendly faces alone!
That said, I want to reiterate Asako's comment about using the helpline. If you have ANY questions, don't be afraid to ask them. Remember, there is no such thing as a silly question - so go ahead and ask :D

Hi Rinnie!
First of all, I'm very flattered :) I hope you have been enjoying my blogs.
There are definitely options for transferring into sydney uni, but they do depend on marks.
Best thing to do is call the helpline on 1300 362 006 and they can tell you everything you need to know!
