Everybody ready!
Sydney Uni is going Live! This Saturday 29th August.
Everyone is coming out to play,
Join in for the action!
(Don’t forget your sunscreen)

It’s the one day in the year where Sydney Uni Opens its doors for all to see. If you’re a school leaver or thinking of coming to Sydney Uni, or a parent of a school leaver, or you just wanna check out Sydney Uni, this Saturday is for you!
There will be lectures about all the different courses you can take, you can meet an acedemic (a person who teaches courses) and ask all the questions you want, you can meet current students and ask them what it's like, you can check out the science labs and touch a test tube (or two), you can hear engineering students talk about the car they built all by themselves, you can get a taste of the 150 clubs and societies by checking out performances in the quad, you can grab a free BBQ, free show bag and a free bus ride from Central Station railway square!
There is so much to see and do, you just won’t want to go home.
When I was in year 12, I was tossing up between which uni I wanted to go to. I spent alot of time deciding which had the better course or the better reputation.
My teacher at school recommended I goto university open days, and this was the best advice I was given as school leaver: “Remember, you’re going to be uni for at least 4 years of your life, so you better make sure you like the place and will enjoy going there everyday. Go and check out vibe, what else is there to do outside the classroom? Take a campus tour, do you feel like you would like to come here everyday? How are the students? How are the people? What else is there to do besides the course?”
See you at Sydney Uni Live everyone!
