Thinking about studying at Sydney, but not sure if you'll get a high enough ATAR for your chosen course? Come to our Revesby event to find your path to Sydney...

Thinking about studying at Sydney, but not sure if you'll get a high enough ATAR for your chosen course?

I was in the same position when I first started: I knew I wanted to study law, but I wasn't able to get the freakishly high ATAR of 99.70! So instead I enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts, and after my first year, I transferred into law. I finish law at the exact same time as if I had got straight in—the only difference is that I got to have more fun in first year!

There are many other ways to get into your chosen degree at Sydney, other than just your ATAR. Next Wednesday 22 May, the University is holding an event in Revesby to highlight the many different paths to university. The event will be hosted by Corey Payne, ex-Canterbury Bulldogs player and 2013 NSW Young Australian of the Year. I will also be speaking, so you can hear me use ridiculous metaphors to describe what studying at Sydney is like! There will also be faculty staff present to answer your questions, and some great prizes. The event is free and refreshments will be provided.
