On the blog, we spend an awful lot of time talking about alternative options for students who don’t quite make the UAI cut off for the course they want. You can do this, that, and the other, and still get in. However, there are probably some of you out there who had a different response. Rather than getting a UAI below your ideal, you’ve got one significantly ABOVE what you expected. And this is where it can get tricky, I know. I’ve been there.

Sydney Uni LIVE! A fun filled day of frollicking amongst the sandstone. It's actually the only day of the year where I don't feel a twinge of guilt walking on the grass in the Main Quad. Then again, I am mildly obsessive compulsive.

Information Day is a good chance to come down and talk with Faculty Representatives and Students about what courses you want to study. By talking to the experts, we can help you find the course that you will love.

I must start this entry saying that I am currently listening to the 12th Man, so if there are really poor references (such as the title), I am sorry. Well, you have the UAI, your marks, and probably about 400 questions about courses. The best place to get answers for these questions is not from your second cousin twice removed from Western Australia, but the actual people who know. Info Day gives you the chance to sit down with Academics, Uni Reps and Students to discuss what you want to do, and to get the correct answers to your questions.
