The odds and ends.

Then there were the other museums, like the Metro Station Syntagma. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syntagma_station

We found the museum of Greek costumes closed. http://odysseus.culture.gr/h/1/eh151.jsp?obj_id=3380

The Centre for Hellenic Tradition is a coffee shop with a big plaque. The sort of thing that makes me think the Scots Tourist Board has been there.
Upstairs at 59 Mitropoleos, Plaka

Also closed when we got to the door was Ilias Lalaounais Jewellery Museum with its replicas of the jewellery of Helen of Troy. See http://www.lalaounis-jewelrymuseum.gr/

The airport also had ruins on display, dug up when it was built.

But we did not find them but instead went to the Aristotle Onassis Lounge and lounged; it was even nicer than the Singapore Airline one in Singapore, because it was so quiet . And there was plenty of hot food and cold drink. Certainly not down to the Qantas standard.
